Roaring on with our non-Traditional week of Christmas Tunes. The Balancing Act were one of those under appreciated and under-noticed bands of the late 1980s that got slightly overlooked by their then-label.
Happily (for everyone), The Balancing Act have gone through a resurrection and are back together after a 22 year hiatus. Continuing our romp through non-traditional Christmas tunes, here is Timbuk 3’s contribution; All I Want For Christmas. Less domestic mayhem-oriented than last nights entry, it still carries that message of anti-conspicuous consumerism, which is just fine by me. Who needs a lot of stuff you can’t use anyway?
I’ll take hanging out with friends and a large dose of Peace this year and every year anyway.
Enjoy and stay out of trouble.
